Right-hander Jerome Williams and left-hander Brandon Claussen agreed to terms Friday with the Washington Nationals, who are desperate for pitching depth. Williams, who gets a one-year deal, went 0-2 with a 7.30 ERA in five appearances with the Chicago Cubs last season. He was optioned in April to Triple-A Iowa, where he was 5-7 with a 4.76 ERA.
