    Cubs 6, Cardinals 0 (AP)

    -->

    Chicago Cubs' Ronny Cedeno points in the air in celebration at the plate following his seventh-inning solo home run against the St. Louis Cardinals at Wrigley Field in Chicago on Saturday, April 21, 2007.

    Jason Marquis shut out his former team on seven hits over seven innings Saturday and Michael Barrett hit a three-run homer to lead the Chicago Cubs over the St. Louis Cardinals 6-0. Marquis (2-1) won 42 games in three seasons with the Cardinals. But he went 0-4 with a 7.25 ERA in five September starts last year and was left off the roster for the final two rounds of the postseason.
